Although Jack was the one to introduce me to organic eating and permaculture principles, I feel I have definitely been taking this into my own and it's become a core value in my daily life. I have always enjoyed getting outside, in the sun, and getting 'down and dirty'. I've worked a diverse range of jobs, from education support in a primary school setting, to concreting and scaffolding, and thoroughbred horse racing. I believe I bring a level and educated mind, along with a lifetime of fitness and hard work, to our business, as well as my growing education to add to Jack's large knowledge base AND skillset.
We are 100% confident that you'll LOVE your finished product. If not, let us know and we'll rectify it, FREE OF CHARGE!!*
*Based off the final agreed upon design plans outlined in finalized invoice. Change of mind is not included.

My first career was carpentry which I enjoyed a lot. However, when my mum got sick, I quit working and became her full-time carer. My interest in gardening was born after enduring my Mum passing away with cancer, and my dad shortly after being diagnosed with kidney failure, as well as having multiple heart attacks and a major stroke.
When dad was finally released from hospital, I also became his full time carer and when I wasn't looking after Dad, I needed something to do around the home; And so I started my first garden. I chose gardening because it is well known to be a healthy activity and health seemed to be the only thing impacting my life at the time.
In my research I knew I didn't want to use any form of chemicals, like pesticides or fertilizers, due to their link to cancers, as well as organ failure. I began researching the different methods of companion planting, to help combat pests and I learnt about the benefits of vermicomposting. I can genuinely say that I got sucked "down the rabbit hole".
I knew my local high school just up the road, had a local community garden, so, when dad became more independent, I walked in one day and offered to volunteer, as gardening had really become something that I loved. Luckily for me, the manager of the garden had decades of experience in Permaculture and sustainable living and he became my unofficial mentor, imparting a wealth of knowledge most could only dream of.
A year or 2 later, i enrolled in a TAFE course called Organic farming and Sustainable Agriculture which opened up my eyes to the scalability of permaculture along with the importance of soil health and biodiversity,
Not long after, I met Evelyn, and through her growing passion and the looming crisis of our Earth, our dream was born.
